AMT is putting the "human factor" back into industry meetings - take a minute and read how you & those at your firm can still be highly motivated in these challenging times.

AMT & the "Human Factor"

There are still lots of questions in the investment management industry relating to the effects of COVID - 19, as I am sure you know. Having a reliable place to go (such as AMT Zoom meetings) to speak candidly with industry peers about business & the pandemic is a very helpful service provided by our trade group. Asset Managers Tech provides the Forum & industry members' combined comments help attendees to formulate their own new ideas.

Another name for this is "incidental information exchange." Still others in financial services say this phenomenon is, "a word that triggers a thought." It is no secret that large banks are bringing top professionals back to work on trading desks periodically so they can be exposed to thought provoking words.

The bottom line, according to Financial Times U.S. Managing Editor Gillian Tett, is that cyber space (working from home) works best when financiers incorporate the "human factor".

Beginning 9/17, AMT will be holding Thursday Morning Zoom Meetings (from 9:00 to 9:45 am ET) to discuss the industry's accomplishments to date concerning Working From Home. These meetings will be interactive. The goal is to facilitate discussion by industry professionals, thereby enabling the "human factor" to come into play. To do this, we are asking participating firms to enlist a group of 3 to 5 professionals from each of their organizations in our AMT Zoom Meetings.

We will send you sign up forms and an agenda in advance of each Zoom meeting.
