Dr. Stan describes where the top three companies currently stand regarding the development and testing of their own distinct proposed vaccines - expected to be available by the first quarter of next year, and will be offered initially to front line doctors and nurses. He also lays out the importance of "herd immunity" and mentions how newly infected patients in 2021 will likely be "treated" with various drugs. Dr. Zaborowski generally indicated the U.S. vaccination program should become more expansive and operationally advanced by next summer.
