1) Still a Raging Pandemic / To illustrate this point: New York State hospitalizations rose to 8,929 on Tuesday, 1/12/21. Of the 196,868 tests reported on January 12, 2021, 14,577, or 7.40 percent, were positive. There were 1,501 patients in ICU on 1/12, up 9 from the previous day. Of them, 924 are intubated. Sadly, NYS lost 165 New Yorkers to the virus on the 12th.
Fortunately, vaccine “distribution” is improving steadily at this juncture!
