We are pleased to report at this time that more than 32 million American residents have been fully inoculated with FDA-approved vaccines.
Accordingly, there is a sense of confidence, we believe, in a number of regions of the country that the U.S. COVID vaccination program is being successfully implemented as Federal, State and local officials find more ways to deliver vaccine doses to cities and towns that have arranged locations where medical personnel are available to inoculate folks who qualify for shots under CDC and other guidelines.
Dr. Stanley Zaborowski, medical adviser to AMT, will be the lead off speaker at our 3/11 Zoom presentation. Dr. Zaborowski will provide an overview regarding the all important question of “herd immunity” in our society. This will assist industry members as they look ahead to when their various states might announce expanded public transportation, as well as the possibility of more extensive gatherings at office buildings. We also realize that getting to herd immunity is relevant to a return to classrooms by a greater percentage of elementary and high school students in most U.S. communities.
Also, AMT Trade Group President Joe Sack will describe at our 3/11 Zoom Update how the industry’s Working From Home creativity, that emerged at the beginning of the pandemic, will be the basis for additional opportunities in the “new normal”.
