The effects of coronavirus will very likely affect life in the U.S. for at least the next several years. The question is whether our leaders and our communities and our people of all ages can grow stronger in character & knowledge and upgrade our society and our relationships around the world throughout this period.
As a trade association, AMT is committed to being a resource with regard to the industry’s “new normal”.
We can begin by holding meetings on Zoom regarding the benefits of new technology relating to firms’ consolidated trading platforms & practices that are emerging in transaction processing due to COVID.
AMT is also looking into Zoom sessions for employees at multiple firms on a) new ways to manage personal family healthcare during the pandemic and beyond; b) how to manage and arrange your home office so that it has even more technology and efficiencies than you experienced at your office building; and c) from a social standpoint, we would be willing to sponsor sessions on how parenting, for example, has been revolutionized as we head toward new normal.

Medical & Science in the U.S. & Globally: Vaccine production, distribution and efficacy are impressive in U.S. EU set backs.
Variants remain a threat to our effort; whereas, $1.9 trillion Congressional economic stimulus will boost our efforts considerably.
We are still not ready to declare victory over the pandemic. We know, sadly, that deaths attributed to COVID will likely reach 600,000 by July. Dr. Stan to describe other challenges relating to herd immunity.
