Dear Colleagues,

Asset Managers Tech (AMT), a trade group, and many folks in the Investment Management Industry have been relying on the weekly reports of Stanley Zaborowski, M.D. for advice on how to stay safe during the pandemic. Dr. Stan serves as AMT’s Medical Adviser.

We had the opportunity yesterday to sit down with Dr. Stan and request his assessment of where the pandemic currently stands in the U.S. and in China. CLICK HERE to view our Zoom replay of Dr. Stan’s Jan. 5th 20 minute assessment of RSV, the flu, and COVID. By all indications, AMT has determined that the pandemic infections are generally less severe at this juncture; however, this coronavirus is still a threat in certain parts of our country due to the unpredictability of its variant strains.

It is fair to say that in our personal and business lives, most of us have a reasonably in-depth amount of knowledge concerning the many elements of the pandemic. However, what we’ve all lived through since the beginning of 2020 has also taught us that staying healthy is not a part time activity.

Accordingly, we would very much welcome your thoughts on the above-referenced 1/5/23 remarks of Dr. Zaborowski. Moreover, AMT is expanding its scientific efforts to also include Updates on Climate Change. We are encouraging senior buy-side managers to volunteer to serve on AMT’s Climate Change Advisory Task Force. This initiative is a science-based endeavor and an industry-driven advocacy initiative. So just as we’ve done concerning our coverage of the pandemic, we will produce weekly live video progress reports on saving the Earth. This service will also be led by our own Dr. Zaborowski and will feature scientific reports regarding sustainability activities that are relevant to the financial services industry.

Thank you for your interest in Asset Managers Tech.

With best regards,

Joe Sack, AMT President (iPhone 1-914-648-0088)
