Background - Industry demand is growing for accurate descriptions of the new technologies and the role of data scientists. AMT has stepped up to the plate to meet this demand. AMT is committed to fostering the interests of the asset management industry along with those of ultimate investors concerning technology policy matters.
Agenda -.Our IT Professionals Committee will address cutting edge topics. These include 1) how the new technologies (Blockchain and AI) are likely to conform to rules & regs and 2) whether to issue Proposed Tech Best Practices. We will also look at defining big data and "alternative data platforms" and how these trends are viewed by CIOs.
