Stanley Zaborowski, M.D., AMT’s Medical Adviser, will lead our discussion concerning two important topics, as follows:
First, Dr. Stan will provide a brief update concerning COVID. Even though we are no longer in the pandemic stage, our trade group continues to monitor key indicators. Such as how the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is handling its own efforts to remain alert regarding coronavirus.
One requirement where CDC has felt there can perhaps be some leeway is whether folks who test positive for COVID still need to stay home from work for a week. Dr. Stan will explain what’s going on concerning quarantine recommendations.
Also, we all know it is getting harder and harder to just pick up the phone and make an appointment to be examined by your dermatologist, for example. More than ever, we must keep track of our own testing and know
when it is time for a routine heart check up, perhaps. Thus, we will talk today about your role in helping to set routine healthcare exams.
