You are cordially invited to participate in our Jan. 24th ZOOM meeting! To join CLICK HERE at 10:00 AM ET.

We will be pleased to introduce you to AMT’s Stanley Zaborowski, M.D. & individual members of our very friendly and upbeat PANEL You are most welcome to chat openly with our regular participants & assess today's U.S. COVID policy issues with them. What are the next steps for consideration by AMT in order to advance its future advocacy role relating to the pandemic on behalf of the interests of America’s Seniors? COVID will always be here, according to the top epidemiologists. Does it make sense at this juncture to begin summarizing "lessons learned” for future generations of Seniors?

Also, The PANEL will assess the extremely challenging facts and issues under consideration by Ukraine and its allies at this stage of their confrontation with Russia. Russia’s new partner, the Wagner Group, has been retained by President Putin to replace, in effect, Putin's own depleted Russian troops. The U.S. has categorically stated that Wagner is a "criminal organization” that is committing widespread human rights abuses. Another key question, separate from the criminality of Wagner, is whether the European countries (whose interests are directly linked to Ukraine’s) can agree on a plan to provide the very necessary modern tanks to Ukraine in order to sustain Ukraine’s soldiers as they confront Wagner this winter.

Finally, U.S.Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen held a “top level” economic meeting in Zurich last week with Liu He, Vice-Premier of China. The outcome is that high level economic and trade teams from both countries will "continue to maintain communications.” Also, Beijing would welcome a meeting from Yellen “this year”. This is obviously an example of economic diplomacy at a very sophisticated level. It also ties into other top level U.S. interests, such as developments relating to Taiwan. The above item will be a new proposed discussion topic for The PANEL at our 1/24 meeting.

Thank you for your interest in The PANEL, sponsored by AMT. Check us out, we would be honored to get to know you!
