Our new suggested format (perhaps mirroring modern society) gives credence to how the following areas of
our lives now tend to more easily blend together:
— COVID & OTHER MEDICAL CHALLENGES
— MODERN MEDICAL SCIENCE INTENDED TO TREAT COVID, CANCER, ETC.
— EVER CHANGING TECHNOLOGY
— A SEAT AT THE CLIMATE CHANGE TABLE FOR EVERYONE
— GENUINE RESPECT FOR GOVERNMENTAL STRUCTURES
— RESPECT FOR DIFFERENT CULTURES & RELIGIONS
— ETHNIC AND RACIAL EQUALITY.
Our initial meetings when COVID came along focused on COVID itself. Would there be a vaccine? Fortunately, Dr. Stan Zaborowski provided guidance to our initial group of members on medical issues. This format has now been successfully employed since May, 2020, at the beginning of each AMT Zoom Meeting. (Thank you, Dr. Stan!) In effect, Dr. Stan’s remarks spark a sharp focus by the group on the main topic in the news that day. (Many times the topic was COVID itself.) In effect, Dr. Stan is the lead off speaker who has told us what’s up in the first chapter of the latest "book of life”, so to speak, in these challenging times. Then we all chimed in regarding the remaining chapters! Hence, the basis for our book club comparison regarding how we’ve been functioning as a group.
We’ve decided to re-evaluate the above approach on a somewhat broader scale.
Accordingly, we thank all dedicated participants and our creative partner, Petra Johansson, for your willingness to help put our new format to the test. After three years worth of weekly get togethers, we know that our original PANEL MEMBERS will be extremely thorough concerning any potential new opportunities that might arise.
The main goal is to continue to assure that everyone walks away with updated insights on their own 21st century lifestyles and goals. In turn, we hope all participants feel even more upbeat about themselves at the conclusion of
each Zoom meeting. A key distinction now is that modern medicine and theoretical lessons learned from COVID procedures are capable of being applied further in daily social behavior, such as proposed governmental
activities and equal opportunity.
Will all of this prove to be beneficial? We are optimistic. That’s because we know that our modern day surroundings are more vibrant than ever before, so we actually anticipate that success over the long haul is bound to exceed our expectations. These are still new and challenging times. What we anticipate gaining by this new and enhanced meeting format would be an opportunity to continue to create opportunities for ourselves
that possibly could also be extended to others in our respective communities.
Basically, we have families and friends; and we certainly would like them to benefit, also, as a result of the above proposals.
Thanks for your interest in this proposed new format. Look forward to everyone’s take!
With best regards,
