Asset Managers Tech has provided in a just released video an initial assessment of the SEC’s ESG Disclosure Proposal. AMT’s Joe Sack recognized the scope and importance of the Commission’s proposal. He indicated that market participants are already assessing the specific implications of this rulemaking initiative.
AMT also featured a medical science update concerning COVID – 19 in today’s video. Stanley Zaborowski, M.D., AMT’s Medical Adviser, discussed how certain drug treatments, in addition to vaccines, are now available to reduce the possibility of serious illness relating to coronavirus.
By all indications, medical science is now very relevant to matters affecting the investment management industry, especially the lingering effects of the pandemic and how to approach climate change. Mr. Sack said there is keen interest on the part of investment managers and their clients in the process of melding industry practices and formal rule making.
